Literature Text

Familiar Salty friend
I lick your shell before I put you out like a cigarette underfoot

Take me back to the clamoring symbol-sound of thirty-thousand voices ring-ring-ringing through Jacob’s Field

Ball cracks against the wood of the bat as peanut shells go crunch under rubber-soled shoes

And the smell
Oh, the smell of the roasted all-beef hotdogs mingling with the Miller Lite taste on my tongue

Delightful
Blissfully indulgent memory
Of baseball in my hometown Cleveland
Oh, I think this poem speaks for itself. It just now came to me. Hope you like. And if you're interested in a quick look at some VERY UNIQUE looking peanuts, check out this page: [link]

Enjoy!

very femanine sounding :) and don't worry, it's not an insult. I actually had to read a paper on femanism recently that theorized that men and women have a difference in natural use of language. something about men being less pleasing to here, but more of a strait to the point type of feel while women are more artsy with the speach but lack points sometimes. interesting isn't it? I think its bullshit though :) equality=good
